General Information

Hours

Our normal open hours are 9 am to 5 pm.  The dew is usually gone by 9 am and then we can pick dry berries. Wet berries promote mold growth and minimize shelf life. Therefore we cannot harvest in the rain or for a while after a rain because wet berries do not keep as well as dry berries.  Give us a call to make sure we are open.  601 799 7243.

The Harvest Season
Our season usually begins in mid-May and lasts till early July, but is dependent upon winter weather and spring rains.  Check with us to get harvest dates.

Directions to farm

We are located 5 miles from Picayune, MS off Interstate Hwy 59.  Take exit 6 and go west on Hwy 43 for 3.4 miles to the 3rd light at Liberty Rd., turn right, go 1.4 miles to Homer Spiers Rd., just past Liberty Baptist Church.  Turn right, follow Homer Spiers Rd. around its bend for 1/2 mile and the farm will be on the left.  You will see our sign.

Or punch in 69 Homer Spiers Rd. on your GPS and follow it.
